That Regulation takes into account the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) of the United Nations (UN). Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 harmonises the provisions and criteria for the classification and labelling of substances, mixtures and certain specific articles within the Union.
